Manga 'Boku to Roboko' Gets TV Anime
Miyazaki began serializing the comedy sci-fi manga in Weekly Shounen Jump in July 2020. Shueisha shipped the seventh volume on March 9 and will publish the eighth volume on June 3.
VIZ Media's Shounen Jump platform and Shueisha's Manga Plus both simupublish the manga in English with the Japanese release. VIZ Media released the third volume on April 26, while the fourth volume is scheduled to ship on July 26.
Synopsis
Robotic OrderMaids are popping up in every household, and 10-year-old Bondo Taira has found out that his two closest friends—Motsuo and Gachi Gorilla—have OrderMaids too. Motsuo, in particular, owns Meico, a beautiful robot that gives excellent massages and serves drinks with a smile. Jealous of his friend, Bondo convinces his mother to get him an OrderMaid, hoping for a similar experience.
However, to Bondo's surprise, the maid that appears outside of his door is incredibly muscular and clumsy enough to destroy a house when completing simple chores. Going by the name Roboko, this new robot is the exact opposite of what Bondo wanted. But despite that, Bondo, together with his friends, learns that there is more to Roboko than they could ever expect. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

It’s popularity is undeniable though. Maybe it won’t reach JJK heights, but all it needs is a great adaptation to be the next big face of the magazine.
I guess yeah. But I don't think the story is anywhere NEAR the level of DS or JJK. It actually sucks.
I’ve never read it so maybe it does suck. I’m just giving my 2 cents from a business perspective.

tbh I don’t think Mashle needs it right now. It has already made top 10 WSJ without any animation promotion. They know it will bang, so it’s best to wait for when JJK has its end in sight before making an anime. That way, when the anime exploads, it can take over as the next king (i.e. JJK succeeding Demon Slayer)
Mashle becoming next king? Are you seriously kidding me? That story is a messed up piece of writing that started out pretty well but ended up going nowhere.

Even when it has 100+ chapters at this point?
Yes Shonen Jump titles can last long as long as they sell decently at the minimum

Jump expects more from action series than gag/comedies

Elaborate on this for me
Some morons are butthurt that Roboco is ongoing and got anime while manga they shilled hard got axed, like Time paradox Ghost writer, Red Hood, Ayashimon, etc.

What controversies? Butthurt of anime youtubers isn't controversy. They are just seething morons (also watching them is pointless)

Heard a lot of controversy surrounding this. With the anime now in production, I will get to know if the gags are worth it.

I wonder why Yozakura Family is taking this long to get an adaptation
Doesn’t sell that well
It sales more than me and robocco

The gag series that inexplicably survived the Weekly Shonen Jump axing while big ones like Ayashimon and Jigokuraku get cancelled after surviving for so long.
Everyone hates this, but only some love it.
