Award-winning book, very good premise and synopsis. It has everything to be a great movie!

Was already interested in the novels even before the anime was announced. Maybe I'll read them before watching the anime

parallel universes? that alone makes it interesting enough to give it a watch.

I can see different studios working to try and give the two worlds distinct visual cues, but different directors is a bit odd. I'd have thought the same, to try and keep at least some sort of tonal or presentational consistency, would have been better.

It looks pretty interesting based on premise. lets see how its handled. Novel adaptation usually have good lore. so i am expecting something good from it.

Multiverse of Madness.

one movie seems to have a director and studio with a larger scope, and the other is kinda unknown. Thankfully they kept the same chara designer and script writer?

and so im assuming they will both show back-to-back? plot seems to accommodate that i guess, but idk which one comes first.
