You got it wrong there, friend. The Mana games are the main series and FF is the spinoff. Not the other way around.

As for the game, the character designs look suspiciously like generic fantasy from the 00s.

I am a bit disappointed by this. It looks like the manga and the manga was average at best (to summary it the author just passed quickly by the 3 main game arcs then he made some story for the boy and girl protagonist, it is good but not impressive) also I was expecting that the story would have two progatonists , both the boy and the girl, but it looks like that the boy will be the protagonist while the girl probably will be a side character (just like the manga :c)

looks like it won't have that game background. sound will be good but not the look of it. but it's pretty rare to see a good game based anime in the first place.

Its not. The western release just used the ff name to sell it. Its it own series.
That's odd then, why would they do that lol

Nothing seems promising as of yet.

Hmm. The staff doesn't seem impressive, but I'll watch. I wish this Mana game was more readily available, though.

I'm sure ready to watch the game that defines my childhood get ruined. This will be like I'm Guts and this is my Casca during the Eclipse.
