'Hoshi no Samidare' Unveils Supporting Cast Members

The big presentation event for the Hoshi no Samidare (Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer) television anime revealed supporting cast and the first key visual (pictured) on Saturday. The anime series adapting Satoshi Mizukami's adventure comedy manga will begin airing on MBS and TBS' Animeism programming block in July 2022.

Nobuaki Nakanishi (Mahoujin Guruguru) is directing the anime. Original creator Satoshi Mizukami (Planet With) and Yuuichirou Momose (Kumo Desu ga, Nani ka?) are handling the series composition.

Hoshi no Samidare ran in Young King OURs from June 2005 to August 2010. Shounen Gahousha published the manga in ten volumes between January 2006 and November 2010.

That visual is perhaps the biggest offence to poster design I've seen in years. And the director and compositor, while not known to be horrendous, are most definitely unremarkable.

It's dead on arrival, not bothering.

Odd that they haven't revealed which Studio is doing this yet, but either way I'm still hyped....The KV isn't bad at all either

Tetsu Inada in particular has me hyped, I'm so glad they actually kept him for Nagumo (since he already voiced him for a Drama CD way back).

No official confirmation on that yet. There has been speculation on Nippon Animation when this was initially announced three months ago, but there isn't anything that confirms or denies the studio so far.

yakko by suzaki aya is fine and anima is played by the VA of saki from PE, awesome, I love all the VAs, can't wait for the anime
