Original TV Anime 'Eternal Boys' Announced for Fall 2022

An official website for an original television anime titled Eternal Boys opened on Wednesday and revealed the main staff, cast, a teaser visual (pictured), and teaser promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere in October 2022.

Synopsis
The story follows six middle-aged men who have experienced success and failures in their lives. One day, they decide to become an idol group and overcome such barriers as their age and their physical condition.

It's kinda like Ryman's club but an idol group for this one.

It's a pretty unique story line, I'm curious about how it'll turn out, so looking forward to this.

LMFAO?? i feel like this is those *random idea* "someone's probably gonna make that a reality" kinda moment. probably gonna appeal to a certain audience tho, especially with the character types. we have cool emotionless ossan, energetic shota(ish) ossan, ikemen ossan, etc

honestly still pretty strange to me but ill prob watch it lol, hope it'll be good

It's basically sing movie plot with all boys cast. While plot itself is interesting, those young male character design and original tag tells me it just not gone work.
