'D4DJ: First Mix' Gets Anime Special in Summer 2022

The Merm4id 3rd Live S.T.O.P.ING concert announced a special episode for the D4DJ: First Mix anime series on Sunday. Titled D4DJ: Double Mix, the special will air in Summer 2022. The special will focus on the Merm4id and Rondo units.

Seiji Mizushima returning from the television anime as the chief director. while assistant director Daisuke Suzuki is helming the special at SANZIGEN.

The 13-episode first season aired during Fall 2020 and streamed on Crunchyroll, Funimation, and HIDIVE. Sentai Filmworks licensed the anime for a Blu-ray release.

I am just glad they'll show Rondo. So it is better than nothing.

Heh, even the brand itself doesn't care about Lyrical Lily. But, yeah, undoubtedly leading into a sequel.

No second season yet. Maybe, this special could be a bridge to the second season with an introduction of Merm4id and RONDO to the main anime series.
