Makoto Raiku, the manga author of Konjiki no Gash!! (Zatch Bell!), announced a sequel manga on Twitter on Saturday. The sequel, Konjiki no Gash!! II (Zatch Bell! II), will be distributed on various eBook platforms beginning mid-March.

The original adventure comedy manga ran in Weekly Shounen Sunday from January 2001 to December 2007. Shogakukan compiled the manga in 33 volumes and later in 16 paperback editions. Konjiki no Gash!! has sold a cumulative 23.8 million copies of its volumes.

Toei Animation produced a 150-episode television anime that aired from April 2003 to March 2006, adapting up to the 22nd volume. The 101 Banme no Mamono (101st Devil) and Mecha Vulkan no Raishuu (Attack of Mechavulcan) side story anime movies premiered in Japan in August 2004 and August 2005.

The Ougon no Chichi wo Motsu Otoko (The Man with the Golden Breast) and Hashire Gash!! Ubawareta Umagon (Run Zatch!! Umagon was Stolen from Us) original video anime shipped in 2005 and 2006.

VIZ Media released the first 25 volumes in English between August 2005 and June 2009 before discontinuing publication. The company also licensed and dubbed the first 104 episodes of the anime series, but only released 52 episodes on DVD. Flatiron Film Company later distributed all 104 episodes on home video in December 2013. Crunchyroll streamed the English dub of those episodes in 2016.

Synopsis
Kiyo is a brilliant junior high student whose inflated ego (and tendency to blow the grading curve) has made him a major target for teasing at school. So his father sends him a bizarre birthday present—a strange little boy named Zatch Bell—to help him make friends and reform his bad attitude. Zatch brings with him a mysterious red volume of spells, and Kiyo discovers that Zatch has magic powers that are unleashed by reading from the book! But there are more surprises to come, and Kiyo's destiny is about to change forever! (Source: VIZ Media, edited)

don't worry it might happen the industry nowadays is so desperate for animes to air, give it time after a few volumes released and you'll see an announcement

Studios seem to focus on old works these days , I hope we see something like a sequel to Yona Of The Dawn or Full Metal Panic
