'Teppen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' Announces Main Staff, Cast Members [Update 3/1]

The official Twitter of the Teppen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! television anime announced on Friday the main cast, staff, and a teaser visual (pictured). The anime series is scheduled to premiere in 2022.

The anime adapts Inujun and Namamugi's comedy manga, which began on the Monthly Bushiroad website last January. Bushiroad shipped the second volume on January 20.

The manga is based on the comedy trio Team Y, which is composed of Itou, Aimi, and Sasaki, and follows the group trying to become the greatest comedians. The trio has a YouTube page of 134,000 subscribers.

To quote Pratchett, "multiple exclamation marks are the sign of a diseased mind." That said, the designs and premise aren't bad, so I'll give it a go, even though I can't say the Japanese style of comedy has ever worked for me.

I just hope that it is better than Maesetsu, which was not funny at all. So, this anime better actually be funny if it is about comedy.

That's a hell lot of exclamation marks there.

Otherwise, this is bringing me back Maesetsu!'s vibes for being a comedy duo like setting, which I hope that this series does it better than that.

Thats a bit too many exclamation mark to get the point across. At first I though it a juvenile anime discussion heading.

Other than that it looks like the usually cgdct. But the manga is shonen, so maybe competitive spirit may be there.
