Original TV Anime 'Extreme Hearts' Announced for Summer 2022

The official website of the Extreme Hearts project confirmed its television anime format on Thursday, revealing the main staff, cast, and a teaser visual (pictured). The anime, written by Masaki Tsuzuki (Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha, Dog Days), is scheduled to premiere in Summer 2022.

Synopsis
The story is set in the near future.

"Hyper Sports" became a hobby competitions that is popular with children and adults alike. Hiyori Hayama is an high school singer who has nothing to do with Hyper Sports. However, the story is set in motion after a certain incident and encounter. "This is the story about how we met our best friends."

So what happened to the supposedly new Nanoha anime that was announced back in January 2020? Lol

Consdering how god awful the new Nanoha movies overall, I don't care much about this new series and I don't think this would become good either with Tsuzuki's shit writing.

Also it's funny they didn't mention 7Arcs' name in this when almost every anime written by Tsuzuki tend to be animated by them, the only exception is Nanoha ViVid which was done by A1-Pictures.

Going from Nanoha to sports shlock? Christ. The phrase "quit while you're ahead" comes to mind, but it's too late now.

Clear pass, unless it actually goes the way of his earlier work.

Honestly though, I'd thought that this was a tie in to Magical Lyrical Nanoha, but since it's by the creator herself, I'm kinda expecting this to be mid. Given how Dog Days were the days of yore, that forms the mix of expectations, yet the genres themselves already raise a red flag being so overdone.

I was meaning the concept of the whole Hyper Sports thing....Made me think of Extreme Baseball in Tribe Nine

From the looks of the pictures on the official website there's soccer, basketball, and baseball... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Also, if ANN is right, hyper sports is just normal sports but with "extreme gears" as support items.

Didn't add that detail in the synopsis tho because the website didn't mention it when I attempted to translate it so it's not 100% sure if what they said is true lol

yeah.... the name Hyper Sport is kind of simple and vague. It can be anything at this point. lol ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The official synopsis also doesn't give us anything that much. So, in my opinion, the PV or its future key visual will tell us more about it.
