'Alice Gear Aegis' Smartphone Game Gets TV Anime Adaptation

The Alice Gear Aegis 4th Anniversary Livestream event announced a television anime adaptation of COLOPL's 3D smartphone shooting game on Friday. The event also revealed the main staff and a teaser promotional video.

Nomad produced an original video anime in collaboration with figure manufacturers MegaHouse, Max Factory, and Kotobukiya last September.

COLOPL released the 3D smartphone game for iOS and Android platforms in January 2018. DMM.com ported the game on PC in June 2020.

A mecha musume series with the creator of Girls Und Panzer and Strike Witches invovled, totally my kind of shit.

Creator? As far as I remember in tank-girls, he was only a guest specialist in military content, but not a character or story creator.

After the catastrophe that happened with Battle Girls High School, another anime adapted from one of COLOPL's game, I definitely won't bother. Always found it baffling how they terminated the game's service months after the anime finished airing, even though I started playing around that time.

That game is also coming to consoles (although none have been named yet).

Would never have guessed off of this key visual alone that this is based off of a shooting game lol...This just look strictly like CGDCT stuff so I'm kinda iffy atm
