Director Hiroyasu Ishida is back from Penguin Highway, and I love every Studio Colorido film work, it's quite something.

But alas, movies like this will have to wait months before fansubs will touch it.

Always happy to see Ishida on the job! The childlike wonder he brings to Colorido's works is almost on par with Ghibli's imo.

Hopefully this movie turn out to be atleast a decent one.

This Penguin guy's previous work (Penguin Highway) was not that good.

Another Netflix movie, the visual looks generic and the staff seems mediocre but the studio is good. So will watch

Being a fan of Penguin Highway, I am in. I hope this will give me the same feel-good vibes (though this isn't based on an Tomihiko Morimi novel as I see).

Not interested.

It's more or less the same team behind Penguin Highway. Hopefully, it's going to be as good as that if not better.

Just to clarify, all the penguins shown in the PV are from the director's previous movie.

I mean if they made something with penguins i think this still applies

The trailer looks promising. I heard good things about the director's first feature film Penguin Highway (gonna watch it in the near future), but that was written by Morimi Tomihiko. It'll be interesting to see what he does with an original movie.

Edit: I watched Penguin Highway (8/10) and I'm very sure it got carried by the source material.

I find it interesting that the female lead on these shows is almost always tomboy and one of the boys. The authors are well aware of how childhood friends work. Also, do the writers of this studio have some kind of fetish for falling or flying people?

This looks nice. Watched previous studio projects will watch this one too.
