MAPPA, Madhouse Produce 'Takt Op. Destiny' TV Anime for Fall 2021

The MAPPA 2021 Stage: 10th Anniversary event unveiled the main staff, a teaser visual (pictured), and teaser promotional video for the Takt Op. Destiny television anime on Sunday. The anime series is scheduled to premiere on October 6 at 12:00 a.m. on TV Tokyo's six affiliated stations and BS TV Tokyo.

Voice actor Kouki Uchiyama (Boku no Hero Academia) will be joining the previously announced main cast as Takt Asahina, a conductor who has made a contract with the musicart "Fate."

Composer Marasy is serving as the key pianist, and conductor Hirofumi Kurita is credited for the musical research. Illustrators LAM and yish are designing the original characters and background concept art, respectively.

Takt Op. is a mixed-media project produced by Bandai Namco Arts and DeNA which includes the television anime and a game.

its just people only realize it just now recently, i mean if you look at other big studios, its pretty much the same like MAPPA... its just since MAPPA is really getting a lot of attention now

no im aware of that but you cant lie that compared to other current anime studios mappa is definitely pumping out the most. plus there have been recent complaints from workers who have left who've said that the conditions are terrible. and not all anime studios are like that. kyoto and ufotable conditions are known to be better.

Yeah, but that's like two studio's in how many again? So it still remains that most studio's do not have ideal working conditions, it's not just MAPPA's fault here, but let's pretend that a single studio is to blame. >_<

This looks even better now! The animation and music are awesome and i'm actually glad that it's not an all female cast, on top of that, surprisingly, the male mc is actually a real bishounen?!??! Wow!!! :O

Honestly kind of upset with how the beautiful original designs for the mobile game got butchered. I'm a huge fan of LAM's artwork and this just looks like bootleg ufotable + B: the Beginning.

MAPPA's taking too many projects on at once, sucks that this one's probably gonna be completely pushed to the side in favor of their bigger name ones. After the shitshow that was Zombieland Saga Revenge's production, I have absolutely no respect for them anymore :(

MAPPA and Madhouse, that's such a surprising collaboration, it's like parent and child collaborating together XD

the PV and animation is giving a lot of fate/stay night heaven’ s feel vibes. the animation is top tier for sure, I hope the storyline and characters won’t disappoint cause this show looks like it has a lot of potential to become big.
