On the LN sides, glad Re:Zero is doing a strong 300k, two more volumes to come out, interested to see how much it gets by the end of the year.

not even close... it needs to go for like 10 more years or until it reach around 50 volumes selling at least 10 million each to surpass the current overall sales of one piece
Nah, it ran for 4 years and it has already sold over 150 million copies and more than 60% of it sold in 2020 and '21. It is no. 9 most highest selling manga ever and it started in 2016. Not any other recent manga are even close. One piece has managed to sell around 500 million in 25 years. Also, KnY sold record 82 million last year. It has humungous popularity in Japan and that was rising exponentially. At that rate, it could have easily overtaken One Piece in a few years (if not 2-3 years).

Demon slayer manga had 25 million copies in circulation in Dec 2019 and then had 150 million copies in Feb 2021 ( btw with this new data, the number is gonna go even higher). That's 125 million copies in 14 months. And it's popularity was still rising exponentially in Japan (thanx to the anime adaptation). If we go by only the earlier rate rate, in less than 5 years it would have crossed 500 million mark.... It sold 82 million copies in a year while Kingdom was at number 2 and One piece at number 3 with only 8 million. That's how hugely it blew up.
Bruh, the manga became 9th highest selling manga ever in just 4 years while other super popular mangas like MHA, Haikyuu etc have been going on for way longer time and have barely managed 50 million sales in all this time. Hell, it left behind some of the all time popular - HxH, Rurouni kenshin, Bleach etc. The only shounen manga with more sales than demon slayer is Dragonball, Naruto and One piece, which all ran for 15-25 years.
hahahahaha just believe on it bruh... i wish you told me something i didnt know, what a waste of time explaining the maths, seems like amount of volumes just dont matter to you... and also, it will not sell 82 million or higher every year lol, get real for a sec
Well, duh, I can say the same. It was a complete waste giving all the facts and details to you. You're exaggerating on superficial details of what "might" happen and I am giving you details and facts on what has already happened. Yes,it will definitely not sell 82 million or higher - IF it's popularity went down, that is. That certainly is not the case, which has been proved by the immense success of the movie. If anything, the show has gained more popularity even in the west. So yeah, getting real - it certainly would have sold even higher, if it was still ongoing.

ok then lets say kny runs for 3 more years and if its releases 4-5 volumes per year thats adding plus 12 to 15 volumes going all the way to 35-38 volumes total... lets say it got a plus 15 volumes and assume all of those will sell at least 6.5 million each (its current average per volume), that is still only 247 million... now lets assume its backlogs sold so much over the years that it climbed to a 10 million per volume average... simple math says its 380 million, that is still 100 million less than one piece currently has in circulation
now in a more realistic scenario... lets say all of kny's 23 volumes has now sold an average 20 million per volume, thats still only 460 million total... still not good enough :) this is also assuming all those 150 million total of kny right now are just from its 23 volumes and not including sales from special editions and all those other crap
tldr basically one piece is just too massive to surpass with its soon to be over 100 volumes

Lmao. KnY still rocking the sales even after ending a year ago. If it had gone on for a 2-3 more years it even had the potential to catch up to One Piece.
