Netflix urgently needs to stop wanting to profit from Japanese culture, they have already shown that all animes they make are a real failure in audience and quality, I don't know why they still try to capitalize on this and also because they are only 4 episodes? Seriously, do they hire a studio to animate 4 eps out of a total of 90mins? Wouldn't it be easier to make a film? I hate how netflix makes the season is always 4-10 episodes and the next season takes more than 1 year, plus the opening and ending made by netflix are always bad

You get this staff and only use them for a 4 episode series? Netflix please. Also. they should get Orange working on the CG, they seem to be the only ones who know how to make the quality stuff.

Netflix needs to stop

Oof, this looks really really ugly. For a company that makes so many original series, they really suck at it when they try to do anime

That made me watch the trailer, hoping for some laughs at how bad the CG was. Unfortunately, it actually looks passable, albeit barely.

Looks like Netflix has their stinker, not everything can be Castlevania or Yasuke.

I gotta admit this is amazing, I know Netflix is not the best when it comes to anime but I'd be lying to say that this is shit. Look at the Ultraman anime and contrast it to this and yeah Netflix has improved in animation.

Well that was horrible. It's like RWBY and Blood of Zeus all over again. Netflix understandably wants in on the growing pocket of money in the anime sub-genre but are too cheap to pay for good 2D animation and using outdated scripts from cheesy 2003 cartoons as their models.

Why does all of Netflix's anime look either like an American cartoon from 00s or try too hard to resemble the popular shonen from the same time?

Fudge this actually looks amazing. We have really good staff members and the CGI is extremely fluid and expressive. It even has some obvious 2d stuff involved too to make the CGI look better. You can tell they know what they are doing. People need to get off the CGI hate train. Sometimes it can be really good and honestly even the art direction here is fantastic.
