Blu-ray Only Extra Short Anime of True Tears

According to Newtype December issue, a Blu-ray Box of True Tears was announced to be released on March 26th, 2010. A three minute long short anime will be included in the boxset and it's a sequel to the TV series.

However, the release of the boxset will be canceled if the number of the pre-orders are less than 2,000 copies.

According to the official website, the producers received more than 2,000 pre-orders and payments. The Blu-ray of true tears has got the green light.

Okay I just watched it..hope she didn't jump, such a sad ending again *sighs*.

Yes, yes, it has. (It's no Noe ending though, it's just a regular.. epilogue.) Actually a couple of days ago already. You can find it on youtube, and I posted it in my profile.. so yeah.

I looked for it everywhere but only found the dvd-specials :S
By the way the anime has fantastic artwork, i guess it should look pretty amazing on bluray. Too bad that one has to obtain a blueray-player to watch it though.

Well, this 3minute special didn't include any dialogue so it was a bit hard to understand what is going on...
Are they just deleted scenes or really an epilogue? If the later, I think the ending was better off without it :D

Just noticed they are having another preorder window, from today to the 20th, but still same rules as the one before (basically it's only for japanese people...).

The December issue of Tokuma Shoten's Animage magazine, which officially goes on sale on Tuesday, includes a notice for a true tears Blu-ray Box from Bandai Visual. The box will include about three minutes of new footage as an epilogue that will depict the future of the main characters after the last television episode.

どうやら、入金数が、予定数を突破した模様です。
これにより、返金などは無くなり、確実に、発売されるようです。
とりあえずは、良かったですね。

で、まだ、入金していない人は、期限までに入金しましょうね。
入金数が多ければ、もう少し特典が付くらしいのですが……なんでしょうねぇ。

正直、あまり期待しないでおきます（笑）
P.A.Worksも新作の作業とかあるでしょうし、途中で作業をねじ込むのは、かなりキツイので、そうすると、軽めの内容にならざるを得ないだろうと。

っていうか、ファンブックに最初付く予定だった、プロモーションビデオ映像は、BDには付かないのか？
それが気になるですよ。

The Blu-ray will be green lit when they receive 2000 PAYMENTS, so it's early to be relieved.
