The official website for the Sayonara Watashi no Cramer (Farewell, My Dear Cramer) television anime adaptation revealed two additional cast members on Friday. Sayonara Watashi no Cramer will premiere at 11:30 p.m. on Tokyo MX and BS NTV on Sunday, April 4. Docomo Anime Store will stream it at the same time weekly and it will be simulcast on Crunchyroll.

Rei Kutani: Yumi Uchiyama (Binbougami ga!)

Kenroku Washizu: Kazuhiro Yamaji (One Punch Man)

Kutani is a futsal (indoor soccer) player who squares off against the Warabi Seinan High School team, and Washizu is the renowned coach of the Kunogi Academy women's soccer club.

The anime adaptation is being directed by Seiki Takuno (Kishuko Gakkou no Juliet) at LIDENFILMS. Natsuko Takahashi (Baby Steps) is writing the script and Masaru Yokoyama (Horimiya) is composing the music.

Naoshi Arakawa first published Sayonara Watashi no Cramer in the June 2016 issue of Monthly Shounen Magazine, and it concluded in the January 2021 issue. Kodansha will release the 14th compiled volume on April 1.

Kodansha USA has published the manga digitally in English since July 2019. It is currently being published in print as an extension of Arakawa's prequel manga, Sayonara Football. The first print volume was released as Sayonara Football: Farewell, My Dear Cramer Vol.3 on February 16.

Sayonara Football was adapted alongside its sequel manga as a film titled Sayonara Watashi no Cramer Movie: First Touch. It was scheduled to premiere in theaters on April 1, but was postponed due to "various circumstances."
