Additional 'Mashiro no Oto' Cast, Second Promo Unveiled

The official website of the television anime adapting Marimo Ragawa's Mashimo no Oto (Those Snow White Notes) manga revealed on Friday additional cast and a second promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere on April 3 at 2:25 a.m. on the Animeism programming block on TBS and MBS, followed by BS-TBS.

Matsugorou Sawamura: Tomohisa Asou (Shingeki no Kyoujin)
Takaomi Kaji: Yuki Kaji (Kiznaiver)
Ushio Arakawa: Fukushi Ochiai (Hinomaruzumou)
Sakura Yamano: Yuna Taniguchi (Ahiru no Sora)
Keiko Koyabu: Tomoyo Takayanagi (Koisuru Asteroid)
Hiroshi Ootawara: Kyouya Kimura (Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san 2)
Taketo: Tetsuya Kakihara (B-Project: Kodou*Ambitious)

Hiroaki Akagi (Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san) is directing the anime at Shin-Ei Animation. Kanichi Katou (Mairimashita! Iruma-kun) is handling the series composition, and Jirou Mashima (Banana Fish sub-character design) is designing the characters.

Ragawa began serializing the musical drama manga in Monthly Shounen Magazine in April 2010. Kodansha shipped the 26th volume on November 17. Kodansha Comics licensed the manga in English on January 26 and will publish the first volume digitally on March 30.

Spring season is going to be pretty tough for me due to how many interesting shows that are coming out. First time in awhile I might take on quite a few seasonals. Looks promising.

looool, I swear clicking on that news story brought me here. Multiple times. But now when I try it doesn't anymore so I guess they fixed it? Or something really weird is going on. In that case, disregard I guess.

This isn't MAPPA, it's Shin-ei Animation. The only thing MAPPA related here us one person who worked on Banana Fish, and a voice actor who worked on Attack on Titan

This will probably be good. I usually really enjoy these kinds of music anime, ones that focus more on the every day aspect of it.
