Second Season of 'World Trigger' Reveals Additional Cast
The official website for the television anime adaptation of Daisuke Ashihara's World Trigger manga revealed on Thursday nine additional cast members for the second season.

Tatsuhito Ikoma: Katsuyuki Konishi (Deca-Dence)
Satoshi Mizukami: Kaito Takeda (2.43: Seiin Koukou Danshi Volley-bu)
Kouji Oki: Masamu Ono (number24)
Kai Minamisawa: Shun Horie (Akudama Drive)
Maori Hosoi: Naomi Oozora (Tsugumomo)
Kazuaki Ouji: Akira Ishida (Psycho-Pass)
Kazuki Kurauchi: Yuusuke Handa (Seikaisuru Kado)
Yutaka Kashio: Tatsumaru Tachibana (The God of High School)
Haya Kittaka: Sakura Kawaguchi (Gegege no Kitarou (2018))
Morio Hatano (Dragon Ball Super) is directing the second season at Toei Animation and Hiroyuki Yoshino (Heavy Object) is handling the series composition. Toshihisa Kaiya (Honzuki no Gekokujou) is designing the characters, and Kenji Kawai (Mob Psycho 100) is composing the music.
Ashihara began serializing the sci-fi action manga in Weekly Shounen Jump in February 2013. The manga resumed after a nearly-two year hiatus in October 2018 and transferred to Jump SQ. magazine in December that year. Shueisha published the 23rd volume on February 4. VIZ Media licensed the manga in English in 2014 and will release the 22nd volume on May 4.
