Manga 'Shinigami Bocchan to Kuro Maid' Receives TV Anime

Shogakukan announced a television anime adaptation of Koharu Ikami's Shinigami Bocchan to Kuro Maid (The Duke of Death and His Black Maid) manga on Tuesday, scheduled for a 2021 debut. NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan simultaneously opened an official website, revealing the main cast, staff, a teaser visual (picture), and teaser promo.

Natsuki Hanae (Masamune-kun no Revenge) and Ayumi Mano (Date A Live III) are starring as Bocchan and Alice, respectively.

Music arranger and pianist Gen Okuda (Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka?? character song composition) and Takeshi Watanabe (Ichigo Mashimaro, To LOVE-Ru) are composing the music.

Inoue began drawing the romantic comedy manga in Sunday Webry web manga portal in October 2017. Shogakukan published the tenth volume on October 12 last year, with the 11th volume planned for a February 12 release. The manga has a cumulative 1 million copies in circulation.

Synopsis
Cursed by a witch as a child, a young duke gained the unwanted power to kill every living thing he touches. Forced to move away from his family and into a large mansion deep in the woods, the duke is treated as if he does not exist and is continually shunned by his peers.

However, he is not entirely alone. Rob and Alice, his butler and maid, are always by his side. Alice loves to tease him, and as their relationship grows, the duke makes it his goal to break free from his deadly curse. Of course, he is going to need some help, and who better to do this than the various inhabitants of the supernatural? [Written by MAL Rewrite]

Unpopular opinion, I actually enjoyed watching it even though it was CGI, I got used to it after a few episodes

Just not so may things happen per chapter. Best way to see it is as a romantic fantasy slice-of-life, with some gothic-lite aesthetic aspects.

Aw man... i really loved this manga back in the days and i was definitely interested in an anime but... i don't really like the CGI

I read a while ago and quite liked it. The CGI looks weird but I’ll probably still watch because it’s such a good rom-com.
