'Tokyo Revengers' Reveals Main Cast, Staff for Spring 2021

The official website of the Tokyo Revengers television anime revealed the main cast, staff, and the first promotional video on Wednesday. The anime series adapting Ken Wakui's action sci-fi manga will premiere in April 2021.

Wakui began drawing the manga in Weekly Shounen Magazine in March 2017. Kodansha published the 19th volume September 17, with the 20th volume scheduled for release on Thursday (pictured right). Tokyo卍Revengers has a cumulative 6.5 million copies of its volumes in circulation.

A live-action film produced by Warner Bros. Japan will screen in theaters in 2021. The film was originally planned for an October 9 release, but has been delayed due to the effects of COVID-19.

The art style looks like a bit of a downgrade from the manga style... but then again, the manga style was pretty unique and did look a bit difficult to adapt so perhaps it's a change for the best and they'll make it work.

Checked the studio and nothing particularly interesting called my attention, but I will stay optimistic and hope it's a good adaptation.

the return of the delinquent genre mixes Rokudenashi blues x Erased.

Not as great as those ones, but the first arcs are actually the most enjoyable, so I´m giving it a chance since the animation looks pretty fair.

The Japanese are so hyped up original manga that I hope this show doesn't disappoint me. Also, I love how the Lindens guys dive more and more into everyday shonen and seinens.
