The official Twitter of the Otona no Bouguya-san (Armor Shop for Ladies & Gentlemen) short anime series revealed on Friday that a second season is scheduled to premiere in January 2021. The staff and cast are returning from the first season.

Synopsis
Kautz was looking for a job and suddenly he's hired by an armor shop. But it's not your run of the mill armor shop, it's an adult armor shop. An ecchi comedy showing the shopkeeper side of selling sexy battle armor.

Junichi Yamamoto (Time Driver: Bokura ga Kaita Mirai) is once again helming the anime at Imagica Lab. and will handle the series composition. Kousuke Iwanaga (Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale key animation), Kyashi, and Yukio Nagasaki (Animegataris) are returning as the character designer, game character designer, and sound director, respectively.

The staff opened a crowdfunding page on Fanbeats to offset production costs. The campaign has no monetary goal and will end on October 25.

The first season streamed in Fall 2018 on the Ganma! application, and then aired on Tokyo MX the same day. The anime received a three-episode sequel in March 2019, which also streamed in the application.

Fumi Ayamiya began serializing the web manga on the Ganma! application in September 2017. Earth Star Entertainment published the second volume on December 12 last year.

Nice, it's rare for shorts to get sequels so I'm happy to see this get one.
