The official Twitter account for Mark Ishii announced on Wednesday that he is returning to voice acting. Ishii took a leave of absence after being diagnosed with Adjustment Disorder last December.

Ishii will resume his voice acting career with talent agency Aksent. Following a discussion with Ishii, Just Production ended its contract with the voice actor on December 27 last year.

Ishii said in a statement on Twitter that he has recovered both physically and mentally, and is pleased to resume working. He thanked all his fans and the staff at Aksent, and asked for their continuous support.

Ishii debuted in July 2014 as Takeshi in Omoide no Marnie. He has also appeared in Cardfight Vanguard G as Chrono Shindou, Lev Haiba in Haikuu!! Second Season, and as Bellri Zenam in Gundam: G no Reconguista. His last role before going on hiatus was Kautz in Otona no Bouguya-san.
