Looks like this could be good. I'll check it out.

Probably won't watch it but the director also did Blood+? That anime was pretty good, even though it was rather boring at times. In fact, I never managed to finish all 50 episodes. I made it pass the 30-episode mark though.

Why does this look like Blood+ 2.0?

I second Krayt's comment. Sounds like an interesting anime plus a tie in with SCANDAL? awesome!

It's "loups", plural of "loup", French for "Wolf." Pronounced like the name Lou.
Incidentally, "loups-garoux" means werewolves. It also rhymes. What fun this is. ^_^

So this movie will be about werewolves? And murders? And a deadly virus? Sounds like there's a virus turning people into werewolves who in turn are murdering girls. And apparently there's some virtual reality component to it as well, as per Viz's descrption of the manga.

Not sure what to think of it, to be honest. Looks kinda corny, but I do enjoy a good murder mystery. May watch for the possibility of lolcyberwerewolves, if nothing else.

So what is this anime, about anyway? I can't really say whether I would watch it or not without some more info. Looking at the author's previous works, this looks like it could be pretty violent as well.

dude...do you fail at mythology?....

"The French name for a werewolf, sometimes used in English, is loup-garou (pronounced /lugaˈru/), from the Latin noun lupus meaning wolf. The second element is thought to be from Old French garoul meaning "werewolf." This in turn is most likely from Frankish *wer-wulf meaning "man-wolf."

Adding that to the storyline in the news, makes me really excited.
