'Kami-tachi ni Hirowareta Otoko' TV Anime Airs in Fall 2020
Hobby Japan opened an official website for the Kami-tachi ni Hirowareta Otoko (By the Grace of the Gods) television anime on Friday, revealing a teaser visual (pictured) and a teaser promotional video. The anime series is being co-produced by North American anime distributor Funimation and will premiere in Fall 2020.
Takeyuki Yanase (Uchi no Ko no Tame naraba, Ore wa Moshikashitara Maou mo Taoseru kamo Shirenai., Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni.) is directing the anime at Maho Film. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken, Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu) is in charge of the series composition and script. Voice actress Azusa Tadokoro (Sin: Nanatsu no Taizai) is playing the protagonist Ryouma.
The television anime adapts Roy's adventure fantasy light novel, which they originally launched on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in July 2015, garnering over 250 million views. Hobby Japan began printing the novel through its HJ Novels imprint with illustrations by Ririnra in September 2017 and published the eighth volume on February 22. Kami-tachi ni Hirowareta Otoko has a cumulative 1 million copies of its volumes in circulation.
Ranran began drawing a manga adaptation in Manga UP! web magazine in November 2017. Square Enix will ship the fifth volume on April 22.
J-Novel Club and Square Enix licensed the light novel and manga in English in November 2019, respectively. The first light novel volume was released digitally on February 1, with the second volume scheduled for Saturday. The first manga volume is planned for a November 2020 release.

This will probably be at most just a wholesome slice of life I guess. Nothing too grand but I hope it can deliver in those parts.

I liked thee visual, but got a little sceptical when the slimes actually moved. I'll probably check it out, but the PV wasn't a masterwork of animation

Welp, at least I know this is going to get a same-day simuldub treatment from Funimation...unless Covid is still affecting them by Fall.

Let's see how Funimation is going to deal with this. Personally just except/hope for a wholesome slice of life isekai.

Here comes the first anime with a chance of getting the Funimation "localization" treatment at the source, although I have to hand it to them to not pick something that isn't a generic isekai for the first localization proj... I mean experiment.

However unless the anime changes the plot a lot, this won't be revealed in the first season and I doubt it will get a season 2 (actually nvm, isekai is very popular and if shit like arifureta can get a season 2, so can this)
