23rd Japan Media Arts Festival Winners Announced
The award-winning works for the 23rd Japan Media Arts Festival was announced on Friday. Recipients include creators from numerous countries, including Japan, China, Russia, and France. Jury selections for the Animation and Manga Divisions were also provided (not listed here.)

Just checked the Animation division award winners - there are some works by Russian animators. Way to go! Personally am very interested in "Lola the living potato" - the trailer seemed nice and also that cute title!

Thank you for sharing the results; lots of interesting short films to check out. I just saw Yoriko Mizushiri's work that won a Jury Recommendation. It has to be my favorite to date! You can watch it here officially on NHK's YouTube channel: Source.
Thank you for pointing this out, can't believe I missed that. I've edited it out. Also I do hope to see more of Mizushiri in the future!
