'BNA' Preview Reveals Additional Cast and Staff

Additional cast and staff members for Trigger's original television series BNA (Brand New Animal) were announced through a promotional video released by the anime's official website on Wednesday. The series is scheduled to premiere in April 2020 on both BS Fuji and Fuji TV'S +Ultra programming block. Netflix holds exclusive streaming rights for the series in Japan.

Barbarei Rose: Gara Takashima (Akage no Anne)
Mary Itami: Michiyo Murase (Little Witch Academia)

Sumire Morohoshi (Shingeki no Bahamut: Virgin Soul) and Yoshimasa Hosoya (Hai to Gensou no Grimgar) were previously announced to cast their respective main characters Michiru Kagemori and Shirou Ogami, while Maria Naganawa (Slow Start) and Kaito Ishikawa (Nagi no Asu kara) are set to play the supporting characters Nazuna Hiwatashi and Alan Sylvasta, respectively.

You Yoshinari (Little Witch Academia) is helming the series from studio Trigger, while the script will be written by Kazuki Nakashima (Promare). The series was first revealed at Anime Expo in July 2019.

Almost wish Beastars had this treatment. its cgi was, to be fair, good, but Triggers animation is so damn fun. Anyway, will give it a try.

Trigger really follows Kanada School style of animation for most of their works now that focuses on making striking poses, deformation (off-model) of characters rather than fluid animation its the opposite style of Kyoto Animation that usually have fluid animation and on-model characters

Trigger got some Kanada School animators anyway like Imaishi, Yoshinari, Amemiya, Ikarashi, Sushio(?), etc
