Manga 'Dragon, Ie wo Kau.' Gets Anime Adaptation
The wraparound band on the fifth volume of Kawo Tanuki and Shouko Aya's Dragon, Ie wo Kau. (Dragon Goes House-Hunting) manga revealed on Thursday that an anime adaptation for the series is in progress.
Synopsis
When a dragon fails to live up to the fearsome standards set for him, his family kicks him out. He embarks on a quest to find a new home, but soon finds that life on the road is no place for a cowardly beast of legend. In a fantasy world full of elves, dwarves, and other mythical creatures, where everyone wants a piece of him—literally!—the frustrations of house-hunting reach a whole new level. (Source: Seven Seas Entertainment)
Tanuki and Aya began serializing the comedy fantasy manga in Monthly Comic Garden in December 2016. Mag Garden published the fourth volume on April 10. The manga also runs on the MAGCOMI website.
Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English in November 2017 and published the third volume on June 25. The fourth volume is scheduled for an April 28, 2020 release.

An anime where the protag is a dragon? As in, an actual dragon and not just some girl with horns or something?

So, basically a homeless dragon who is trying to find a new home but people want to eat him? Man, that premise sounds hilarious!
