Yoshio Inoue and Mio Imada Join Cast for Second 'Boku no Hero Academia' Film

The official website for Boku no Hero Academia the Movie 2: Heroes:Rising revealed the cast for two movie-original characters on Thursday. Manga author Kouhei Horikoshi provided the character designs and is supervising the production.

Yoshio Inoue, an actor known primarily for his work in musicals who previously voiced Eiji Nochizawa in Sword Art Online Movie: Ordinal Scale, will play the villain Nine. Actress and model Mio Imada (Hana Nochi Hare: HanaDan Next Season live-action) features as Nine's follower, Slice, whose Quirk allows her to use her hair as a blade. Nine and Slice will chase after Tomura Shigaraki in the film and attack the island of Nabutou, though at the moment their motives are unclear.


Boku no Hero Academia the Movie 2: Heroes:Rising is directed by Kenji Nagasaki and produced by studio Bones. It premieres in Japan on December 20.

besides the animation the first one was "ight" but checking that visual out why my boy hawk here man, hoping this is on par story wise with the main series

I mean, I get why someone might not like MHA, but calling it garbage is going a bit too far, IMO.

first off that wasn't his point, his point was many people like it (overhyped) yes, but thats why it makes money, therefore they will continue to do it, because people want it, thats why it sells

and lastly, i mean, i don't disagree with you, i think MHA is overrated and overhyped, but there's no reason to go around threads insulting the work that is clearly highly acclaimed by others

I found the last movie to be pretty boring and bleh. Series itself was way more tense.

Definitely looking forward to this!

I'm pretty clueless on the new cast's past works and etc but here's to hoping they totally nail it!
