'Bokura no Nanokakan Sensou' Anime Film Reveals Cast
The official website for Ajia-Do's Bokura no Nanokakan Sensou theatrical anime announced the cast members on Wednesday. The film will premiere on December 13 in Japan.Cast
Mamoru Suzuhara: Takumi Kitamura (Hello World)
Aya Chiyono: Kyouko Yoshine
Kaori Yamazaki: Megumi Han (Devilman: Crybaby)
Souma Ogata: Tatsuhisa Suzuki (Nanatsu no Taizai)
Hiroto Honjou: Takeo Ootsuka (Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru)
Saki Akutsu: Haruka Michii (BAR Kiraware Yasai)
Malet: Makoto Koichi (Aho Girl)
Masahiko Honda: Takahiro Sakurai (Code Geass)
Yuuta Murano (Dream Festival!) is directing the film, which features a script penned by Ichiro Okouchi (Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch) and characters designed by Hiroshi Shimizu (Michiko to Hatchin).
The anime adapts Osamu Souda's 1985 Bokura no Nanokakan Sensou novel, the first entry of Souda's Bokurano series. Including reprints and spin-offs, the series has sold over 17 million copies. The books have also inspired two live-action film adaptations that premiered in 1988 and 1991.
