Studio Trigger Reveals 'BNA' Anime Series for 2020 Premiere
You Yoshinari—the original creator, director, and character designer for the Little Witch Academia anime franchise—is helming the production. Kazuki Nakashima, the veteran writer behind Kill la Kill and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, will be in charge of the script. This marks the first time Yoshinari and Nakashima are collaborating.
Yoshinari drew the character line art for the key visual. Canadian artist Genice Chan is credited for the background art and color design.
Studio Trigger was established by directors Hiroyuki Imaishi, Masahiko Otsuka, and producer Kazuya Masumoto in 2011 after they left Gainax. As a part of the 2013 Anime Mirai project, Trigger produced the short film Little Witch Academia, which later inspired a second film in 2015 and a television anime in 2017.
Trigger primarily produces original anime, beginning with Kill la Kill in 2013. The studio's first feature-length anime film, Promare, opened in Japan on May 24, earning a cumulative 731 million yen (approximately US$6.74 million) as of June 30.

Series was sort of stale.

What a stupid post, honestly. Glossing over the pathetic 'lol u are kid and have shit taste' tone and the previous passive agressive post, implying Imaishi's work are soulless or anything less than pure passion for the medium is being fucking blind. I would argue that SnK is way more of a 'appeal to the masses' thing with very little risks taken, and its directing lacks anything unique. That is a product. While you can instantly spot Imaishi's work because he, unlike the snk guy, actually has unique style, he's one of a kind. Araki does what? Just adaptations, and brings little from himself to these. He directed fucking guilty crown, lol.
Anyway, whatever, I'm not doing any more bickering over whose favourites are better, but this 'no soul' argument leads to nothing, because it can't even be properly backed up, and is such a vague accusation it's just stupid to use. Bring something concrete, or just go away with meaningless posts.
Dude's obviously just trying to get a rise out of people. No one in their right mind gives TTGL a 1, unless—as you said—they're blind.
I'm not saying that trigger right now is copying plots of popular manga or with a lot of reputation with announced adaptation a long time ago and now decide to make an anime with the same topic, but considering how condescending their fans, they believe: "trigger is the most original thing that exists, like Gainax and invented whole genres", I still see people who believe that Gainax invented the mecha with evangelion (because it is the only mecha they know) and because few people consult sources to confirm the truth.
I think that in a certain way it is a psychological strategy so that people continue believing that they are the first in everything.

To be quite frank we don't know how things will go for this series but the bold idea of "Trigger is creatively going bankrupt" uh... you do realize that these are taken at face value, correct?
And even if people were correct, it's still going to be at face value (at least as of writing this) since we ain't sure how this will be seen as. And with the creativity put into play... well, execution matters the most. I can get that the concept isn't for everyone especially for those that aren't into furries (I'm friends with some of them, but I'm not a furry myself), but I feel like people are just massively shooting for bullets.
Not trying to be mean here in the thread, but I feel rather awkward with the statements being made here.

holy fudge, you sound so pretentious.
those big words become pretty irrelevant when you can't speak proper english btw
also funny you should mention people being 12 with attack on titan in your top 10 lol norm
I didn't say that whatever is popular is shit, I'm not this kind of person.
Maybe you didn't see through it, but SnK is not really your generic anime full of fan service. In fact the author applies itself to make the exact opposite of everything you expect, it's quite audacious, not everyone can deal with the frustration.
While stuff like Guren Laggan or Code Geass for example (maybe you like this one too?) are just commercial products whose only purpose is to make lot of money by pleasing the largest possible audience, you'll understand that taking risks is not an option so they're just a collection of proven and bland anime clichés.
Some would argue that the purpose of every anime is to make money but on one hand we have the vision of an artist creating something new and unique that you might dislike and on the other a bunch of people industrially applying a well known recipe, that's pretty different.
When you'll grown a bit older you should try to rewatch your currents favorites to perhaps realize they have no soul.
You just proved his/her point by typing a wall of pretentious moaning that no one would dare bother to even read. Quite the hoity toity anime connoisseur you must be, huh?

The elitism here is fucking retarded lmao, trigger is great, ratings and sales prove it, and yet weeb fart sniffing snobs have to pathetically argue in the comments of a fucking news post. Keep up the stereotype
As for this, I'm not surprised that they jumped on the furry train, but I've been a fan of everything Trigger has released recently except Kiznaiver so I'm pretty excited especially when looking at the staff on this
