Web Manga 'Haishin Yuusha' Gets Anime Adaptation
Video game publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment's &CAST!!! smartphone application announced on Friday that Takahito Oosaki and Ikurou's fantasy web manga Haishin Yuusha (The Brave-Tuber) will receive a short anime adaptation. The series will be streamed on the &CAST!! and Production I.G's Anime Beans applications.Synopsis
For the most part, Wisdaregidor is your typical fantasy world: monsters wreaking havoc, taverns packed with gung-ho adventurers, and a demon overlord looking to rule it all. But Wisdaregidor has one thing you'll never find in Middle-earth: the Internet! Zane and Kuku are two adventurers trying to build a fanbase. 20 of the cast members are performers from &CAST!!!'s "Hour Love Yell!" program. A public audition will be held for the roles of the main characters Zane and Kuku.
Oozaki and Ikurou launched the manga on MAGCOMI's Comic Garden website in February 2018 and ended it on March 20. MAGCOMI printed the manga under its Blades Comic imprint and published the second and final volume on May 10.
Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English earlier this January and plans to ship the first volume on September 10.

Studios don't decide what is adapted but the companies on the committee which aren't them. No company will work with a web novel which can't be monetized, which is why light novels are adapted instead as they're officially sold.

I think it's a great idea. It's kind of been done with Smartphone... but this brings a whole concept to the isekai at large. Whether it's good is a whole other thing.

No they won't. What is popular becomes an officially published LN and then might be considered for an anime adaptation; and what doesn't has no chance in hell of getting adapted if it either plain lacks popularity or has some other objections to even warrant a publication in LN form.
