Manga 'Val x Love' Gets TV Anime Adaptation

The June 2019 issue of Square Enix's Shounen Gangan announced a television anime adaptation Ryousuke Asakura's ecchi supernatural comedy manga Val x Love on Saturday. Avex Entertainment simultaneously opened an official website for the anime series, revealing a teaser visual (pictured).

Synopsis
Akutsu Takuma wants nothing more than to be left alone, to live and study in peace. He has a terrifying face, which has prevented him from making friends and earned him the nickname "Akuma" (devil). However, he is satisfied with being alone and spending all of his time learning, hoping to become the good person his late mother saw in him.

All of this changes when he gets involved with the nine Saotome girls, who are Valkyries. Takuma is called by Odin to pair with them to protect the world from demons and the threat of total destruction. The Valkyries' power comes from love, and so now he must live with them and try to become closer to them. To start with, they prioritize his intimacy with the strongest Valkyrie, Natsuki. Will he and the Saotome women be able to save the world? (Source: MangaHelpers)

Val x Love, also known as Ikusa x Koi, has been serialized in Shounen Gangan since December 2015 with six volumes in print as of October 2018. Square Enix published the seventh volume on Saturday. The manga has a cumulative 400,000 copies of its compiled volumes in circulation.

Yen Press licensed the manga in English in April 2017 and published the first volume in January 2018. The fifth volume went on sale earlier this February.

Should be a fun watch just hope they don't censor it like crazy, since there are a lot of spicy scenes in the manga. That would be nice to see animated.

This is probably the best supernatural borderline hentai I've ever seen. Manga is very interesting. Plus, only the boobies are shown, so that's a "definitely gonna watch it" from me. Looking forward to it! <3

I do not care about the ecchi part even if it's soft hentai (I could enjoy "qwaser" with my brain off and with the door closed), but what I can not stand is the premise about a normal high school boy who one day meets a girl who changes her life and becomes the center of the universe for all, it kills me the fact that the most irrelevant and boring of the world character is the point of interest of so many girls, which are probably characters a thousand times better than him.

I was invested till I saw the synopsis. It gives me Masou Gauken HxH vibes. And you should know what would happen if i get those vibes

Hopefully, It won't be as trash as that show. Not holding my breath though.

The LN later volumes i've heard it goes to hentai levels, not sure tho, but yeah, the mc was okay i guess, the overall show, a huge mess, at least for me. It was just amazing for the eyes lmao, in terms of ecchi.

Not really as it have more "heart" so to speak. As far as I'm reading anyway.

Anyway I've read this back then up until scanlation just stop all of sudden. Haven't read anything after that even when another scanlator pick this up.

For those who want to watch this is on the level of "wait for BD or AT-X" kind of show.

Edit: For comparison it kinda like Date A Live but lewder.
