The May 2019 issue of Manga Time Kirara Carat revealed on Thursday that Sou Hamayumiba's slice of life idol manga Ochikobore Fruit Tart (Dropout Idol Fruit Tart) is being adapted into a TV anime.

Synopsis
Fourth dormitory of the Rat Production (commonly known as Nezumi-sou)—the place where dropout idol girls live: the former child actor Sekino Roko, musician Nukui Hayu, and model Maehara Nina. Sakura Ino, who always dreamed of becoming an idol, moves in. At the same time, the decision is made to demolish the dormitory. Due to the project launched by the manager Kajino Hoho, "Ochikobore Fruit Tart," occupants of the dormitory form a new idol group called "Fruit Tart" and start their activities in order to repay a one hundred million yen debt. I really love the art style of the manga, so hopefully feel. doesn't mess this up. Doga Kobo probably would've been more suited for this kind of adaptation, but I look forward to this!

Gonna watch this just for the synopsis.

On one hand it's Kirara.
On the other hand, it's bloody idols. And with a stupid premise to boot.

get a feeling so complicated

Wonder if it'll have as much melodrama has Hanayamata did.

it's studio feel... they are justice.

yeah but what this tells me is:

- There is no Hinamatsuri S2 in production
- Oregairu S3 might be picked up by another studio or might not receive the expected amount of attention from the staff because they have their hands full working on not one but TWO projects including Ochikobore

This is strange, because feel is known mainly for harems and romance. Damn, this is even reflected in their name, lol.
