J-Pop Band Ikimonogakari Announces Resumption After Nearly Two-Year Hiatus

J-pop band Ikimonogakari announced on their website on Friday that the band will resume activity on November 3, on the day of the unit's establishment. The members have expressed that after doing solo activities, they realized that they want to do more music together.

Ikimonogakari announced their hiatus on January 2017 to conduct solo activities. Vocalist Kiyoe Yoshioka released her solo cover album "Utairo" on October 24, which ranked third on the first week with 25,065 copies sold. Yoshiki Mizuno has produced songs for other artists, including the Hanebado! opening theme song "Futari no Hane" which was performed by YURiKA. Hotaka Yamashita has released an essay last November, and produced a song for JUNNA's latest album 17-sai ga Utsukushii nande, Dare ga Itta. released this Wednesday, titled "Jounetsu Moratorium".

I'm so glad they're back! I was kinda sad when I found out (kinda late) that they went on hiatus and didn't know about anything they did while separated. lol
Either way, they're one of my favorite bands.
