Light Novel 'Assassins Pride' Gets Anime Adaptation

The Fantasia Bunko Daikanshasai 2018 stage on Sunday has announced that light novel Assasins Pride will get an anime adaptation. More information will be revealed at a later date.

Synopsis
In the world where only the aristocrats have the power to fight the monster-mana. A youth named Kufa is dispatched as a tutor to find Mareida's talent, a nuisance girl born in a duke's family. If she is not talented, assassinate her-that, is the dark side of his task… (Source: Novel Updates)

Assasins Pride is written by Kei Amagi and illustrated by Ninomotonino, which has been serialized since January 2016. Kadokawa released the eighth volume through the Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint on August 18, with the Secret Garden short stories collection on February 20. The light novel series received Grand Prize at the 28th Fantasia Bunko Taisho in 2015.

A manga adaptation drawn by Yoshie Katou has been serialized in Ultra Jump magazine since May 2017 and has two compiled volumes in print as of April 19.

She is not, but sensei just cheated, and he has to hide that fact, or both of them will get killed, because her grandfather send him to train her, or dispose her, and he betrayed him from the very beggining, but grandpa doesn't know yet.

Well, this was a good surprise for me. It gave me curiosity, and I've read some of the manga, and is pretty ok. There are not many 13-years-old girls + adult teacher MCs out there. The girl has a good, honest, hardworking personality, the guy is planning that neither of them get killed because he betrayed his contractor in the very beggining and its hidding that, and above all, the world is pretty interestig.

They live in a sunless, moonless and starless world, and inhabitated a city-state in the form of a chandelier, artificialy iluminated. If it has a good animation, it could also be quite enjoyable, visually speaking

Anime Key Visual released definitely doesn't look like SAO to me but looking forward to this one.

She is talentless but Hardworking.
Whether he will assassinate her or not we have to wait till the end of the series.

Everytime I see Light Novel [series name] gets anime adaptation I get a heart drop. I'm waiting for both Konjiki no Word Master and How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom to be announced. If they do get announced, just know I'll be excited. And you all will be the first ones to know.

The only time I can see where this makes sense with the comparison is with Asuna... Kirito??? Not really? They look nothing alike at least compared to the original source's designs on its own.

With that being said, well... I say I'll give this a shot, since it looks interesting on its own.

The guy doesn't look like Kirito at all, just look at a picture that shows him in detail.

I guess the girl does look like Asuna. But Asuna has one of the most generic character designs anyway, half of anime heroines look like her.
