Sixth and Seventh Volumes of 'Seishun Buta Yarou' Light Novel Series Get Anime Movie

An event to pre-screen the first two episodes of the Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai TV anime on Saturday has announced that the sixth and seventh volumes of the light novel series will get adapted into an anime movie. Titled Seishun Buta Yarou wa Yumemiru Shoujo no Yume wo Minai, it will adapt both volumes and will premiere in Japanese theaters next year.

Seishun Buta Yarou series is a light novel by Hajime Kamoshida with illustrations by Keiji Mizoguchi that has been published under the Dengeki Bunko imprint since April 2014. The TV anime series will broadcast on Thursdays at 2:15 a.m. via ABC TV, followed by Tokyo MX, Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, BS11, and Me~TV starting October 4.

also the female lead is a tsundere ,another reason to never watch this serie

Why is Shouko poor? So if Sakuta have cheated on Mai, dump his girlfriend and ended up with that Shouko girl, that would have made this good romance anime worthy of watching. Since when guy being faithful to his girlfriend is bad thing?

this is the difference btw a good romance and shitty romance

a good romance will keep developing the romance btw the main couple without adding any love triangle/harem
a shitty romance will keep adding more girls that fall in love with the mc then reject them after

The novel already has 9 volumes :P So wouldn't surprise me if he continues it to 11+ and if the movie, s1 continue to do well we'll see more of it!

Yeah, it's confirmed to be 13 eps for 5 volumes and pretty much a given with the pacing. About a S2, the author is continuing the LN past Vol 7 so it'll all depend on how good the sales will be for both the S1 and the movie.

Its not officially licensed so yeah. There are fan translations but only the first novel (theres 9 out now in Japanese) has been translated. Don't ask for the link though since we can't share that sort of stuff on MAL.

I like what I read from both of the manga adaptations and considering the content I've heard about in 6th and 7th volume, I kinda get where they're coming from to turn it into a movie instead. Really hope the TV series will be 2-cours instead of 1-cour adapting the first 5 volumes tho.
