New Game Company Too Kyo Games Announces Anime Project with Studio Pierrot

An online announcement for the game company Too Kyo Games revealed four upcoming projects on Tuesday, among an anime project by Studio Pierrot. The anime will resemble 1990s crime action movies, such as Pulp Fiction and Léon (a.k.a The Professional in English). The project revealed a concept art (pictured), featuring the catchphrase "all members are evil."

Original Work: Kazutaka Kodaka (Danganronpa series)
Character Design: Rui Komatsuzaki (Danganronpa series)
Director: Tomohisa Taguchi (Persona series)
Senario: Norimitsu Kaihou (Danganronpa 3: The End of Kibougamine Gakuen series)

Too Kyo Games is formed by creators previously involved in the Danganronpa series: Kodaka, Komatsuzaki, and Masafumi Takada (Yume Oukoku to Nemureru 100-nin no Ouji-sama), with Youichirou Koizumi (Yorutobu Junk Girl), Shimadoriru (Danganronpa Togami), Takumi Takazawa (Myself; Yourself), and Koutarou Uchikoshi (Punch Line). The purpose of forming the new company are to create new IP that can be used Worldwide and create indie games by these creators.

Masafumi Takada as the music composer, sounds interesting, I loved every song played on danganronpa.
Also the fact that everyone is gonna be evil is gonna be interesting too.

I would say its shit because of Pierrot but since it has some Persona and Danganronpa people working on it, it might be good.

Inb4 Pierrot comments here hurr durr.

I get pessimism being a thing and I understand that, however even then the staff doesn't even look bad personally.

It's more of a hit/miss staff with the director and series composition, so with that being said... this can be interesting tho.

The long awaited reunion between Uchikoshi and Nakazawa is like a dream. Not a big fan of the dangan series but with Kodaka there, I'm excited to see them try new things.

It's Nakazawa not Takazawa. But this is actually a VN fan's/my dream. Seeing the creators of Infinity, Uchikoshi and Nakazawa, collab again and having Kodaka on the crew to top it off. These guys are gonna do some crazy things, Pierrot or otherwise. It's unfortunate they aren't associated with their best works, like Uchikoshi with Zero Escape or Nakazawa with Root Double or Ever17, but those games didn't get anime, so it makes sense.

Correct, bad wording on the article's part. Though I wouldn't be surprised if they inspired each other in their creations. The two have been chummy for a while, so them coming together like this isn't too surprising.

Either way, this is some pretty hype news. ^^

Uchikoshi was never involved in the Danganronpa series as far as I know but with Zero Escape.

And I had no idea that the mangaka of Gakkougurashi did the script for episodes of the D3 anime and series composition as well.
