Mangaka Akira Amano to Publish New One-Shot

Amano won a contest for aspiring mangaka in 2002 with Monkey Business, which was published in Weekly Young Jump magazine. She is well known for the Katekyo Hitman Reborn! manga series, which ran for 42 volumes between 2004 and 2012. An anime adaptation aired from Fall 2006 to Fall 2010. VIZ Media licensed and released both the anime and manga in North America.
Amano began the ēlDLIVE manga series in Jump LIVE in August 2013, which subsequently moved to Shounen Jump+ in September 2014. Shueisha plans to publish the tenth compiled volume on August 3. VIZ Media publishes the manga digitally in English and released the sixth e-book volume on July 24. A 12-episode TV anime adaptation premiered in Winter 2017. Funimation has licensed the anime for North American distribution and released the series in a Blu-ray/DVD combo on May 15.
