TV Anime 'Ulysses: Jehanne Darc to Renkin no Kishi' Announces Staff and Cast Members

An official website for the previously announced Ulysses: Jehanne Darc to Renkin no Kishi anime adaptation has launched and announced staff and cast members. The TV anime is slated for this fall. The announcement was made at the Shueisha stage presentation via Machi★Asobi vol.20 event on Saturday.

Yeah, he's a good animator and a decent episode director - his OP/ED animations (e.g. Senyuu OP, Bakemonogatari OP2, Hanamaru ED4) are always so energic and fun. His work a series director though is kinda lacking, even excluding Berserk, because that one had a lot more problems behind the scenes. My guess is that this show will end up like Bento where the only good episode was the first one.

Look very good, but death flag on the heroine already confirmed? I mean, is Jeanne d'Arc, so it can't be a happy ending unless is just the same world setting and characters but a different story. I will be sad if the cute mc die. >_>

Looking at the lineup for Fall 2018 right now(it will change once more shows gets added there when announced), it looks like its going to be weakest season for this year. But there are few that im interested in.

Boogiepop ( it says 2018 so i presume its going to be in the fall season)

Im keeping my expectations low for the slime isekai anime and Release the Spyce

Radiant, Bloom into You and SSSS Gridman are pretty much what im looking for right now that are confirmed for Fall.

But yeah, the season is far and theres still lot of stuff to be announced and some that are at least confirmed 2018 like Boogiepop, Double Decker, Goblin Slayer, RErideD, YU-NO and Zoku Owarimonogatari.

Its just that at this moment, right now, its looking pretty meh

Something tells me that this will end up being a train wreck, especially with that particular director...

It's a shame. I really want a proper Jeanne D'arc adaptation...

It's by the same author as Oda Nobuna no Yabou. However, the studio that is producing this is really mediocre.

There was literally no animation for the PV tbh despite the designs looking cool and the visuals too.
