Original Robot TV Anime 'Planet With' Announced

An official website launched today has revealed that J.C.Staff will be producing an original robot TV anime titled Planet With. Staff and cast members have also been announced. The anime, with a tagline "I am not an invader, for I seek revenge!" is slated to broadcast this summer.

The anime is spawning a manga adaptation, which will begin its serialization in this year's June issue of Shounen Gahosha's Young King OURs magazine, releasing on April 28. A mecha figure line of the anime is also in development. The Bandai Namco booth at AnimeJapan 2018 will also feature the series' teaser (see embed), as well as a timeline of Mizukami planning the project.

Maybe, just maaaaaaybe this will get Mizukami the attention he deserves and leads to some of his other works getting adapted. The day I can watch a Hoshi no Samidare anime will be the day I can die happy.

Finally a work by Satoshi Mizukami gets adapted. He is by far the most underrated mangaka to never get an anime of any of his works.
