Manga 'Dagashi Kashi' Ends

This year's 17th issue of Weekly Shounen Sunday has announced that Kotoyama's Dagashi Kashi will end in three chapters.

Dagashi Kashi has been serializing in Weekly Shounen Sunday since June 2014. There are currently ten compiled volumes released, with the latest volume released this past February. The series was nominated for the 41st Kodansha Manga Awards in the shounen manga category. It received its first anime adaptation by studio feel., which was broadcast in Winter 2016. A second season animated by Tezuka Productions is currently airing.

Two anime seasons and the manga was very popular, and yet it ends. Too bad. This, Prison School, and many others this year. Disappointing.

The manga is still 4 years old though.
I think its likely due mediocre reception and good story doesnt have to be dragged.
You dont want to end up like nisekoi (fillers hell).

I've been feeling like many manga have been ending since 2016 lol. And I'm sure some feel that a lot of manga have been ending since 2005. It depends, I guess.

I never read this manga but it was one of Sunday's best-sellers.
