'6 Lovers' OVA Collection to be Further Delayed

Shinshokan's official website has announced that the release date for the 6 Lovers OVA collection has been further delayed from its scheduled February release. The series is now scheduled to premiere this Summer.

The OVA collection was originally slated for an August 2016 release but has been a subject of three delays due to production issues. The series will adapt multiple titles serialized in the monthly Dear+ magazine. The magazine, which was originally a seasonal magazine, began its monthly releases in 2003.

All I found on the website (as of the 26th of April, 2019), was the fact that the production company has changed from Soft Garage Co., Ltd. to Nowa Co., Ltd. They plan to release within a year. When I go to its website, though, I can't find anything. So obviously, I went to their Twitter page, and... Absolutely nothing. That's about the only update I can give.

Ain I can not wait to launch. I hope it's as good as the manga! I just wonder how the KuronekoKareshi adaptation will be, which is the smoothest of all hahaha
I can not wait for the OVA premiere ^^

Yeah I already called this when it was delayed to February.

I knew it, tbh. If it was supposed to come out in 2016, 2018 is getting really close to marking up over 2 years, and nearly 3. So essentially, we're getting hit with the Ai no Kusabi 2012 treatment. Was scheduled for 2009, ended up taking 3 freaking years of delays.

It's at a point like this that I just give up and don't expect anything to happen. They say summer now, but sorry. I no longer take their word for being valid. They can make all the 'release dates' they want, but it isn't going to convince me until it's actually released. Done getting my hopes up. It'll take another year at this point.

Then in the end, this will be abandoned... I just have a 30% chance about it but I hope they give us what we shouldn't expect though ^^
