Gag Manga 'Teekyuu' Ends and Tsugeo Terada Begins New Manga

The official Twitter account for Comic Earth☆Star has announced that manga Teekyuu will end with its 134th chapter to be released on January 25, 2018. The series' 133th chapter was released on Thursday.

Teekyuu is a manga written by Tsugeo Terada and drawn by Piyo via Comic Earth☆Star since February 2012. There are 14 compiled volumes released so far, with the 15th and final volume to be released on February 12, 2018. The manga series received nine short anime series between Fall 2012 and Summer 2017. Studio MAPPA animated the first three seasons while studio Millepensee took over the rest of the seasons.

Tsugeo Terada will also begin a new manga series titled Isekai no Toilet de Dai wo Suru. via Young Champion Retsu magazine starting in the February issue of the magazine, to be released on January 16, 2018.

Man that would be awkward.
Last time the author that worked on Inou battle also move to shitty isekai series.
I hope author doesn't follow the trends especially Isekai is known as lazy world building, generic characters, same settings and bad writings.

I'm so sad the train is finally stoppable. I'd little upset if they changed it into pure isekai bullshit. Too much isekai now. But i hope the authour new work is just something like Teekyuu.

And here I was expecting Teekyuu to never end. Oh well. I am less disappointed in Teekyuu getting axed than with Teekyuu being replaced with a generic isekai title. It could be funny though, who knows.

To be honest I don't think its his fault overall. He just doesn't fit that's all. :/

Blame whoever hired him of course but he works more on Teekyuu since he brings more of his own talent over there than Milippenes where there's massive limitations.

OT: Not a big fan of Teekyuu but hey, I wish good luck on the author.

I absolutely love Teekyu, it's not the best comedy out there and receives some flak because Itagaki Shin is responsible for most of the production, but it never fails to put a smile on my face. This is sad news but I'm satisfied that we received 9 seasons, plus there could be a tenth.
