TV Anime 'Mahou Shoujo Ore' Announces Main Cast and Staff Members

The official website and Twitter account for the previously announced BL web manga based Mahou Shoujo Ore anime adaptation have been launched and announced main cast and staff members. The anime will be a TV series slated for Spring 2018.

Back Street Girls' synopsis seems like a normal series in comparison to this.

This story is about a 15-year-old girl who is a newbie idol in love with her best friend's brother who is also a popular idol.

Uhh, okay...

But she runs into a scary yakuza guy and finds out that her mother was an ex-magical girl, and the yakuza was her mascot.

Um, am I reading this right? Her mother's mascot was the yakuza and not the other way around!?

Her love interest gets kidnapped by demons that look like burly men with cute squirrel heads.

There's too many things wrong with this to even consider judging it.

So she contracts the yakuza to become a magical girl, which in this story means she turns into a handsome guy in a magical girl outfit.

But why? Just why?

On top of that, her love interest shows an attraction toward her magical guy form.

So it's BL, but not BL.

Her best friend turns out to be in love with her and also becomes a magical cross-dressing guy to save her life.

So it's GL and BL at the same time. I fucking give up.

Anyway, the manga was pretty fun! The story is utterly stupid indeed, but that's the goal.
