A Nico live program for PS Vita RPG game Caligula held on Friday has announced that the game will get TV anime to broadcast on Spring 2018. The cast members will reprise their roles except for the main character, who will be anime original.

I've been interested in trying the game since the story seemed interesting but I never bought it since I'm not big on Digital-only. Really looking forward to watch this!

The new game is exclusive for PS4 and is not really "new". It's just an upgraded version with some new additions.

isn't this that awful garbage game that get a complete remake just after 1 year because it's too garbage? well this is just for promotion.

This game seems lit, yo

Based on the reception of the game itself it doesn't seem really nice. Though, if they can do an 18if (where they turned a mediocre game into a good animated series) then that would be pretty neat. Though I know, different directors and such but it would be neat if they can do it the same format or try to fix issues that the respective game already had.

Aside from that, concept is interesting, so I'll see for further news.

I must admit that I love "Korekara no Someday", " Susume Tomorrow", "Snow Halation", "No brand girls", "Wonder zone" and "Bokura no LIVE Kimi to no LIFE"

I'm waiting for the notification given to me for me to live in that world....

I cannot agree more lol, reading the synopsis the first time make me felt like this is a LL spinoff or something. XD Quite a dark and eerie spinoff though, maybe Honoka couldn't rest in peace or something and her soul persisted in this world and transformed into some godly.

Its a game adaptation.
and from the comments, it seems like its not a really good game..

eh, unless there's a really good staff behind it ill pass.

Game adaptation? This is probably gonna be pretty cheap, but I'll wait for the staff till I decide what to do.

The game was pretty mediocre but if I don't have to deal with its awful battle system, I might actually be able to enjoy some of it.

The game didn't sell well in Japan at all (Exstetra sold way better than this), how is this getting an anime and not Exstetra. The game is also pretty bad as well.

Weird how they decide to make a anime on a game that didn't even sell well. Not like advertising it years after its release is going to help it.

Was hoping it'd be at least vaguely related to the historical Caligula (maybe a show where it's an alternate universe and everyone's a cute girl, some sort of ecchi/comedy/gore) but this premise doesn't sound too bad. It's pretty vague, though, so I guess there's lots of room for it to be terrible and it seems like people didn't like the game...

Game adaptations will unfortunately never go away it seems :/

I can smell a trashy adaption of a pretty boring game. [I liked some of the OST though.]

Seems quite similar to the game series The Evil Within's plot; an organization called Mobius is developing a digital world were people's minds are used as processing units. They are lured into Mobius' world via "religious centers" (recruitment centers) called Mu (pronounced as μ).

Coincidence?

Well, given guro, ecchi, mad protagonist and harem's brother-sister incest, this movie would have many chances in modern anime.

We need this to happen.

Yes, it sounds like a good script for Urobochi. Is that left to add token yuri girls and decadence.

Nov 17, 2017 8:34 AM by RobertBobert

What? Who needs this? This game is garbage. I know, cause I bought it at launch. And for bonus round we're gonna get a cheap and uninspired anime version of a cheap and uninspired game? No!
Oh, wait! There's gonna be a sequel too? Wow. Fuck this.
