Currently Airing Comedy Anime 'Osomatsu-san 2nd Season' to Bundle Short Episodes

The official website for the currently airing Osomatsu-san 2nd Season has been updated information about Blu-ray and DVD releases. The information revealed that there will be a total of eight volumes released, instead of initially announced four volumes.

There will be four short episodes bundled in the 2nd, 4th, 6th, and 8th volumes of the package, to be released on January 26, March 30, May 25, and July 27 of next year, respectively. Sentou Quiz 2 will also be released via the 3rd volume, which will be released on February 23, 2018.

In addition to the short episodes, the site also announced that the series will receive a second cours. It scheduled to premiere in Winter 2018 and will give the series a total of 25 episodes.

Osomatsu-san is the original sequel to Osomatsu-kun which aired for 25 episodes between October 2015 and March 2016. The series has also received a special episode due to issues with its first and third episodes, as well as shorts episodes bundled with the Blu-ray and DVD releases. The anime returned with a special episode in collaboration with Japan Racing Association, which was aired on December 2016. The second season of the series is currently airing.

It's is def doing well to get 25 episodes but I'll probably still wait until the season is over with to get to it. :/

Yeah 25 episodes! My brother say this will be only 12-13 episode like SnK, Blue Exorcist, Food Wars etc. but I wasn't agree with him. Glad to see I'm right haha.

Well I'm glad there's a lot more Osomatsu to come, great to hear it's going to be 25 episodes.

Also, I'm not sure if the short episodes will be the same as this or different.

I believe Sentou Quiz 2 is new because if I remembered correctly, Sentou Quiz was only aired once in first season.
