Seiyuu Ryuuji Saikachi Dies

Seiyuu Ryuuji Saikachi died on Friday September 29 at the age of 89 years old from congestive heart failure. A private funeral will be done among his family at a later day.

Saikachi voiced Matthew Cuthbert from Akage no Anne, Rerere no Oji-san from Ganso Tensai Bakabon, Dr. Kieda from Time Bokan, and more. The article also mentions that he voiced Hara Motoro from Tenkuu no Shiro Laputa, which it was aired on TV for 16 times on the day he died. Especially Nihon TV's Kinyou Roadshow! (Friday Roadshow) broadcast is popular for "Paruzu" Festival, which is tweeting "Paruzu" when that scene towards to the end.
