TV Anime 'Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou' Cast Members Announced

The official website for the upcoming Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou TV anime has announced main cast members. The announced cast members will also perform both the opening and ending theme song. The anime will air on Fridays at 9:30 p.m. starting October 6 via AT-X, followed by Tokyo MX, BS11, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, TVQ Kyushu Housou, and TV Aichi.

Chito: Inori Minase (Re:Creators)
Yuuri: Yurika Kubo (Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e (TV))

Opening Theme Song: "Ugoku, Ugoku" by Chito (CV: Inori Minase), Yuuri (CV: Yurika Kubo)
Ending Theme Song: "More One Night" by Chito (CV: Inori Minase), Yuuri (CV: Yurika Kubo)

@EVA-Souls It's not yuri. The only lusty ship in this story is Yuuri x food. Actually on second thought don't count that, it's one-sided, since the food does not love her or consent to be eaten. Firekeeper <3

Gotta be. At more than halfway through all of the manga that's out in Japan, I barely feel like I've read six episodes' worth of content. Feels like generally 3 or 4 chapters per episode would work, which would catch it up nicely to where the manga is.

This feels so weird, first time I've ever caught up on [translations of] a manga before its anime started.

Read around 3 or so chapters of the manga.

It's pretty weird with the setting being a post-apocalypse and a mixture of Iyashikei but the chemistry between the two characters are quite nice.

The cast selection is pretty great considering they did a pretty nice job at picking Inori Minase for these type of characters, as well as Yurika Kubo. We'll see how this goes.

Though I'm kind of questioning if it'll do well within the gap between episodes because as far as I read there's around 18-20 pages each chapter so.

@jejehartadi Well, I do not know much about this. But she has relatively few roles in the year (especially compared to Saori Hayami) that I'm starting to worry.

Lol, good for u. He's like a savior for newcomer seiyuu, because when a seiyuu becomes Jin's favorites, Jin will use them A LOT (Jin is sound director for lots of anime every year afterall).

The premise seems interesting. I wonder how many episodes we will get, likely 1 cour? I heard people praise the manga so my anticipation's a bit high. Studio white fox also has done good jobs in adaptation so far imo so it's a plus point.

I was really hoping she would have a high chance of earning a role in this one since this will be animated by White Fox, same studio that animated GochiUsa & Re:Zero. Never knew it would happen again, but I'm happy about this.

This is one of my highly anticipated anime for Fall 2017, tbh. >w> Because reasons. Yatta~ <3 I'm really digging the atmosphere after I've seen that PV.. o.o

I hope this can be considered a sign that White Fox loves Inori. Especially considering that her plans after ReCreators were poorly understood to me. In general, I'm not familiar with the original, but I hope that the adaptation will be good.

Nice cast choices. But I hope the director selects the voice pitches where the two voices mesh very well, because we expect heavy dialog. I hope the dialog scripts are not disappointing.
