The fact is that I love Rie for her type casting, but at the same time I consider her a rather monotonous actress. At the same time, although for obvious reasons I do not care that she plays Emilia, I do not like that being a better seiyuu, Inori basically gets the roles of moe side characters, while Rie gets the lead, let and in weak or little-known projects. However, I recognize that I am very subjective, because Inori is one of the most adored by me people in the anime industry.
So you mean Rie should not get a lead role at all and Inori gets all of them? Ridiculous. You have to be considerate to other voice actors. I know you are just subjective but it's a bit extreme position to take. Inori is getting lead roles. Rie is also getting some, but not as many as Inori's. All the lead characters Rie got have low-pitch voice. That's her expertise. You want those characters to be voiced by Inori? That's too greedy. Inori is already hogging the lead characters with high-pitched voice. And you also want the low-pitched ones to go to Inori, and Rie gets nothing? Don't get me wrong. Inori can also do a low-pitch voice. But it's just too greedy.

You did not understand me. I do not want Rie to get less roles, I'm just surprised that Inori has less of them. Beyond this, Inori simply can not play her roles, because they have very different type of casting.

I don't know why you think Rie has more leading roles than Inori. Inori is reeling in more good roles than Rie year after year. Rie got a breakout in terms of popularity last year, because of KonoSuba and Re:Zero. But Rie still didn't get more roles than before. The number of the roles she gets this year actually worsened.

@crx07 Well, if that's the case. Simply, I like Rie, but I do not understand why she is given more leading roles than Inori.

easy 10/10 :p

It's not romance, so do not be sad. On the other hand, I'm surprised that Rie again "bypasses" Minase, despite much weaker data.

I believe that Inori Minase was not bypassed. My reason is only speculation but it makes sense. My speculation is this: Rie and Inori didn't compete in the audition for "Animegataris" because Inori didn't need to participate in the audition. She didn't need to participate because she already had a role reserved solely for her.
There's an anime called "Animegatari". There are two main characters in this anime. Inori Minase voiced one of them. "Animegataris" took those two characters and their corresponding voice actresses to their show. The character Inori voiced was relegated to a supporting role.

Most awful name they could possibly think of?

seems like the series is about a wacky everyday life...

I'm in!

Seems like the first character is voiced by Rie Takahashi and the second character is voiced by Inori Minase. I like the opening song "Ai Kotoba" by GARNiDELiA, so far (I don't care if the music is "generic", it's well-executed i believe). May become my first favorite GARNiDELiA song.
EDIT: The second character sounds more like Kaede Hondo than Inori Minase.

@tragedydesu

Well I do not know. If in the same Mahouka, Kana has at least a potential love interest in the form of Katsuto, then Rem has a significantly better chance, in my opinion. Especially considering that Subaru talks about "equal feelings for both girls."

In general, no matter what end of Tappei wants, he clearly already knows now that most fans of the series will be disappointed if Rem lost.

@RobertBobert
yep , kana loses in the majority of times in harems/love triangles

rem have no chance to win , just accept it
the author is a big emilia fan
i just hope he gives Rem a happy ending with a partner who cherish her

lol , yeah she may become her heiress x)

at least she is not cursed like kana hanazawa yet

Are you hinting that recently Kana almost always plays the third wheel in a love triangle? Well, I do not know what end will be in ReZero, but Inori clearly risks becoming her heiress in this.

I may not give a shit about Japanese VAs that much but whenever I see Inori Minase, be it as VA or just an OP/ED singer, the show is an insta-watch for me
