Manga Author Yoshihiro Togashi to Publish New One-Shot

This year's 18th issue of Shueisha's Grand Jump magazine has announced that a new two-chapter manga written by Yoshihiro Togashi (Hunter x Hunter, Yuu☆Yuu☆Hakusho) and drawn by junior manga author, Hachi Mizuno, will be published in the September issue of Grand Jump Premium magazine. Titled Akuten Wars (Bad Weather Wars), the manga is based on Togashi's original draft which he never revealed to the public before. The first chapter will be released on August 23, followed by the second chapter on the magazine's October issue in September.

Togashi's Hunter x Hunter manga resumed recently on June 26 after being on hiatus for a year. The 34th compiled volume of the manga also shipped on the same day.

Expect 1st chapter this September as it was scheduled, and the 2nd chapter in 5 years.

I believe that this new manga is going to be a battle card game just like yugioh.
In one of his old interviews : he said that he wanted to create a card game battle shonen after he finishes hxh , but since hxh has no near ending in sight, this one shot will probably be a card game (doesnt that look like a card on the kids hand)

Yeah he was mostly having health problems and whatnot. I think it was mostly back pain? As far as I'm aware of.

Obviously I know he's not going to read this, I'm voicing my opinion on what I wish he'd do going forward. Perhaps I should have changed my wording so that it didn't seem like I was trying to directly address him....

Notice he's letting someone else handle the art for this....Togashi, please do the same thing for HxH. If it takes some of the burden off of you, that's the best course of action if you ever want to finish HxH.

If Togashi even planning to draw that new One-shot means he is really in good shape! And By the way that boy on the cover shot seem to be even shorter than Gon. And I also interested to know when did he drafted this story?

Huh. A One-shot by Togashi huh. Pretty nice, well I'm gonna go and take a peak on it when its around (though one shots tends to be short or just a one chance or try thing as far as I got).
